DORI & CO. – RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Dori & Co., every piece is handcrafted with exceptional attention to detail. As with most luxury designer labels, many of our products are made-to-order or customized. To maintain the highest quality standards and ensure hygienic handling, our return and refund guidelines are outlined below.

 


 

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • You received a damaged, defective, or incorrect product.

  • There is a manufacturing defect identified upon delivery.

  • The product does not match the order specifications (size, color, style) as shown on your order confirmation.

To initiate a return:

  • You must notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery.

  • The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories intact.

Please note:

  • Return requests made after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted.

  • Returns are subject to a detailed quality check before approval.

 


 

2. Non-Returnable Items

 

In alignment with industry norms followed by luxury designer boutiques, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Made-to-order garments

  • Customized / personalized outfits

  • Sarees that include blouse customization

  • Altered pieces

  • Accessories, including jewelry, bags, footwear, belts

  • Sale, discounted or promotional items

  • International orders (outside India)

Products falling under these categories are final sale.

 


 

3. Exchanges

 

We offer size exchanges only if:

  • The item is an eligible product (not customized or made-to-order)

  • We have the required size available in stock

 

If the size is not available, you may opt for:

  • A store credit valid for 12 months, or

  • An alternative product of equal value

 


 

4. Refunds

Refunds are offered only in the following situations:

  • The item is out of stock after payment has been made

  • The product is confirmed to be defective beyond repair

  • An incorrect item was sent and a replacement is unavailable

Refunds will be processed:

  • To the original method of payment, or

  • As store credit (based on your preference, unless stated otherwise)

Processing Time:

 

  • 7–14 business days from the date of approval

 


Note: Shipping, COD fees, and handling charges are non-refundable.


 

5. Store Credit

 

Store credit is issued when:

  • A return is approved but refund is not applicable

  • An incorrect size exchange is not possible

Store credit:

  • Is valid for 12 months

  • Is non-transferable

  • Can be used on any full-price product

 


 

6. Return Pickup & Shipping

 

  • For approved returns, we will arrange a reverse pickup through our logistics partners, wherever serviceable.

  • If reverse pickup is unavailable in your area, you may be asked to ship the product back to our return facility.

  • Return shipping charges may apply unless the product was defective or incorrectly sent.

 


 

7. Quality Check & Rejection of Return

 

A return will be declined if:

 

  • The product appears worn, used, or damaged post-delivery

  • Tags or original packaging are missing

  • There is any evidence of alteration, stains, perfume, or misuse

  • The return request was raised beyond the acceptable window

 

If rejected, the product will be shipped back to you.

 


 

8. Cancellation Policy

 

  • Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase.

  • Once the order goes into production (especially for made-to-order pieces), cancellations are not permitted.

  • Refunds for approved cancellations will be processed within 7–10 business days.

 


 

9. International Orders

 

  • At this time, returns, exchanges, and refunds are not accepted for international shipments unless the product delivered is defective or incorrect.

  • Customs duties, taxes, and shipping charges are non-refundable.
